Samuel J is a musician, producer, DJ, and ocean conservationist from the UK living in California. His soul touching voice, powerful performances, and deeply moving lyrics have captivated hearts around the world.
Samuel’s new hybrid dance set “Step to the Magic" is lighting up audiences on his current tour.
Performed/toured with: RY X, Xavier Rudd, Poranguí, Donavan Frankenreiter, Mose, Ayla Nereo, Zero 7, Jurassic 5, Ben Harper, Michael Franti, Lauryn Hill, G Love, and an array of the leading musicians in Brazil.
Played at: Glastonbury, Shambhala, Lightning in a Bottle, Lollapalooza, Envision, World Surf Tour, Secret Garden, Big Chill, Wanderlust, Arise, One Love, and many more.

Samuel has worked tirelessly throughout his career to create a positive impact through causes he deeply believes in. Much of his effort has focused on ocean conservation and child education - he has built schools and raised hundreds of thousands of dollars through his music. He is now recognized globally and collaborates with several of the world’s most influential organizations, including OnlyOne, Akashinga, Sea Shepherd, and the Dalai Lama Foundation. His dedication was recently honored with his appointment as an Ambassador of Peace for the country of Indonesia.

More than just a musician…
Samuel works tirelessly to support underprivileged youth where he tours. Where he often invites local children to perform and be Young Elders.
He admirably built a school from the proceeds of one of his albums he self-organized, recorded, and produced in Brazil.
His award winning Brasil Live Project album features recordings with some of Brazil’s greatest talents, with funds going toward underprivileged children across Brazil. He plans to take this creative project to Africa and India in the future.
Samuel has also been raising funds and awareness for Sea Shepherd and Ocean Care for a number of years, and works continuously at schools and through his music to amplify the positive impact of their work. Samuel has taken part in expeditions with both organizations, visiting remote regions of the world and reporting from areas most effected by exploitation.
